
(5/10/2019) - Two people from Flint were arrested after allegedly delivering heroin to an undercover police officer in Shiawassee County.
A 24-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman are accused of attempting the transaction in Caledonia Township on more than one occasion, according to a press release issued by the Mid-Michigan Area Group Narcotics Enforcement Team.
After the delivery to undercover officers, Michigan State Police arrested the two suspects. During the arrest, detectives seized additional heroin, a stun gun and codeine syrup, police said.
The suspects were lodged in the Shiawassee County Jail while awaiting arraignment on unspecified charges. A third person in the vehicle during the traffic stop was questioned and released.
