(05/08/19) - From babysitter discounts to a "mom-sized" coffee, businesses are rolling out specials for Mother's Day. What do Mid-Michigan moms really want this upcoming Mother's Day? In short: a doggone break. "It's hard to get a break these days from your kids. We don't get a break. They're with us 24/7," said Rasheda Britt, a Flint resident. Kraft is helping grant mothers' wishes. Kraft's "Mother's Day Away" will pay up to $100 to get a babysitter on Mother's Day. Moms would have to upload a photo of the receipt or invoice, but since most babysitters don't provide a receipt, a signed note from the babysitter is also acceptable. They'll also need to provide a description of why you needed the time away. With a day off, some moms would choose to relax. "I would sleep probably and clean a lot. Catch up on house work," Katarina Lovitt, a Flint resident, said. Others would leave the house. "I'd probably get my nails done or go to the spa," Britt said. The offer will end on May 19 or once Kraft reaches the $50,000 limit, whichever comes first.
