(03/18/19-Dramatic pictures out of Nebraska -- showing extreme flooding now blamed on the deaths of at least two people. The historic high waters are devastating that region of the Midwest right now-- but even from mid-Michigan -- help is on the way. "It comes out of nowhere and they are trapped," said AG Community Relief vice president, Scott Fahley. The images are devastating.....large parts of several states in the Midwest.... underwater due to record setting flooding. "And what we've seen from pictures is only half the battle until we get there and see with our own two eyes." AG Community Relief is a non profit organization that helps farmers recover when disasters strike, like what's happening in Nebraska right now. The group is essentially a kind of Red Cross for farmers. "We are putting together a relief mission right now to haul supplies there, get boots on the ground and see exactly what they need," Fahley said. Fahley says they are in the process gathering supplies to take with them. And they are hoping those in the community can help. With items like First Aid for livestock, bag feed, buckets, and pails. He says every little bit helps. "We're just here to help anyplace we can to lighten the load a little bit." Fahley said. They are planning to leave this Thursday.
