(3/15/2019) - Flood warnings have been issued for the Saginaw and Tittabawassee rivers in Mid-Michigan, which are expected to spill over their banks this weekend.
Moderate flooding is expected along the Tittabawassee River in Midland County when it crests around 27 feet on Saturday morning. That is about three feet above flood stage.
Midland city officials say Emerson Park, Dublin Avenue, West St. Andrews Road, Currie Parkway, Pomranky Road, St. Charles Street and Poseyville Road likely will be under water this weekend.
The Saginaw River is expected to crest around 17.4 feet in Bay and Saginaw counties on Sunday morning. Only minor flooding of low-lying areas is expected along there.
