A week with back-to-back storm systems means a lot of headaches for most folks in Mid-Michigan. Thankfully for everyone, the second storm system will have much less of an impact that the earlier one. As of Tuesday afternoon, we're expecting some precipitation to move in Thursday evening, Valentine's day. Precip will be in the form of rain to the south and snow from the bay area northward. Anything coming down out of the sky will be rather light. Rain showers falling will be brief and move out shortly after they begin since they'll mainly be along a cold front. To the north where snow is likely, only a few inches are expected. The entire storm is out by early Friday morning.
