(02/06/19) - Icy roads factored into close to 300 closings and delays Wednesday morning.
Some parts of Mid-Michigan had freezing rain.
Traffic was slow moving at times along the I-69 corridor where there were a few accidents.
U.S. 127 in the Alma area also saw slowdowns.
With the icy conditions, utility companies asked customers to be prepared for outages.
Consumers Energy crews spent the morning working to restore power in areas of West Michigan.
At one point, there were about 650 reported outages in that part of the state.
